This session will cover the fundamentals of how to use strategies and best practices to help students improve their reading skills. It will mainly focus on helping students in low Tiers 2-3, who are struggling academically in reading. Presenter will focus on monitoring student performance, targeting specific skills which students are weak and continually guiding and providing intervention to strengthen reading skills to prepare for assessments and promote comprehension and overall literacy in English Skills focused on will be aligned to ELAR TEKS each specific grade level 5th -8th.
